| Description: | LEED Certified: Gold This project implements the L shaped prototypical design to serve 900 pre-k-8th grade students. At the request of CPS, the facility is being modified to accommodate a middle school program, and will service students ranging from 6th to 8th grade. This 101,028-square-foot, three-story, steel frame and masonry construction building will include science, computer, music, and art classrooms, in addition to library, gymnasium, and dining facilities. LEED Features: This prototype building is targeted to achieve LEED for Schools minimum "Silver" level certification, including 25% green roof.
