St. Lucia Day Ceremony

St. Lucia Day honors the Sicilian maiden who was martyred for being a Christian then mysteriously appeared over a century later to feed starving villagers in Sweden. A highlight of the event will be the Crowning of Chicago’s St. Lucia of 2013.
