Description: The ground breaking for the new 115,200 square foot school was April 26, 2004. Located adjacent to Jensen Park the school will include 29 classroom, 6 special education classrooms, science room, music room, art room, learning resource center and student dining room. The Chicago Park District will share the school's multi-purpose room and gymnasium. The three story school will be fully accessible to people with disabilities and will include a state-of-the-art computer network. The school will accommodate roughly 900 students and will be completed in the fall of 2005.
