Eligible to Bid:
Four firms have been deemed prequalified for this project:

This Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).

Project Description
Fabrication and installation of a new 6-classroom modular building. The modular building will be ordered, delivered, and installed at a project site to be named later. The modular building will be placed over spread concrete footings. Fire alarm, intercom, and other connections will be made from the new modular building to adjacent existing building as needed. Site improvements may be comprised of new power, communications, water connections, storm water management improvements, new vehicular drive, sidewalks and landscaping. The project is expected to start construction Spring of 2015 and be completed in August of 2015.

Bid Opening:
Sealed responses shall be submitted and received at the Public Building Commission, Richard J. Daley Center, 50 West Washington, Room 200 until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, and then and there publicly opened. Note: Date has changed.

Pre-Bid Meeting:
A pre-bid meeting will be held Friday, April 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m. Second Floor Boardroom, Richard J. Daley Center, 50 West Washington. Contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers are invited to attend to meet the pre-qualified firms bidding on this contract. Note: Date has changed.
