This Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).

Project Description
Construction of a three story 38,000 sf addition comprised of 14 classrooms, a computer classroom, a science classroom, a music classroom, a kitchen / dining room and select interior renovations at Minnie Mars Jamieson Elementary School, located at 5650 North Mozart Street. Building construction will be concrete and steel frame over spread concrete footings and an exterior envelope consisting of cold formed steel studs and masonry veneer. Site improvements comprising of new play equipment, artificial turf field, and storm water management improvements.

Bid Opening:
Sealed responses shall be submitted and received at the Public Building Commission, Richard J. Daley Center, 50 West Washington, Room 200 until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, and then and there publicly opened. Note: Date has been extended.

Pre-Bid Meeting:
A pre-bid meeting will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015, 11:00 a.m. Second Floor Boardroom, Richard J. Daley Center, 50 West Washington. Contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers are invited to attend to meet the pre-qualified firms bidding on this contract.
